Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Below you will find a letter from our Director of Diversity & Inclusion as well as Delta Gamma's Positional Statement on Inclusivity.

Delta Gamma’s diversity, equity, and inclusion is driven by values found in Article II. It guides us in promoting cultural interests throughout the chapter and creating a true sense of social responsibility within ourselves. These values make sure we hold ourselves to a high standard of social awareness and inclusivity. DG is committed to providing a safe and equitable space for our members and potential new members. We strive to make certain that we are valuing each sister for her individuality and educating ourselves when we fail to do so.
We know that our differences are what makes our sisterhood strong, so we strive to put our values into action and work towards a more inclusive future. As Delta Gammas, we show our dedication through our involvement on campus and in the community. We are committed to working with the LGBTQ+ Center, Women’s Center, CARE office, Multicultural Center, and more to educate each other and grow by learning new perspectives.
By not just acknowledging, but celebrating our differences, we foster a greater sense of belonging among our members. We are always trying to push our members to grow in these aspects to provide a more equitable future for everyone. One way we promote genuine learning in our chapter is through DG Dialogues where we engage in conversation with one another over topics of diversity, equity, and inclusion. This also helps create a safe space with supportive friendships between one another. We also send out a weekly newsletter covering global, national, and local events with podcasts and other relevant news to encourage personal growth and education as well as social awareness. Nationwide, Delta Gamma women can connect on Facebook groups like DG Women of Color and DG Rainbow. Our individualities and values define our shared identity as Delta Gamma’s, which is what continues to push us to “Do Good."
