Welcome to Kappa Chapter of Delta Gamma at the University of Nebraska.
We are so excited to have you! Below is more information from our President.

Hello! My name is Ashlyn Orr, and as the 2023 chapter president, I would like to welcome you to the Delta Gamma - Kappa Chapter website! I am so honored to be representing this sisterhood and am positive that as you look around our website, you will realize just how genuine and amazing these women are as well.
When I first joined Delta Gamma in the Fall of 2020, I had no idea what kind of impact these women and this house would have on me. I was met with open arms, and the women of Delta Gamma have stayed by my side and encouraged me to become the best version of myself over the past three years. These women are the sisters I never thought I would have.
As Delta Gammas, we strive for excellence in all areas, especially in those of sisterhood, scholarship, educational and cultural awareness, and character. You can find members of DG all across campus, as we have members that represent all nine academic colleges here at the University. A few of the organizations we are involved in include NHRI mentoring, New Student Orientation, Dance Marathon, and many Pre-Professional Clubs, Additionally, we have members involved in various honor societies, including Mortar Board, Order of Omega, Business Honors, UNL Honors, Raikes School of Computer Science, and more!
Off Campus, you can find us living out the "Do Good Sisterhood" through several volunteer and extracurricular activities! Through our philanthropy Service for Sight, Delta Gammas have had the opportunity to volunteer at the Nebraska Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired, Domestipups, various nursing homes, and other organizations! Doing Good is at the root of who we are in Delta Gamma, and that can be seen through every one of our members.
There is no mold to fit as a member in Delta Gamma. Each woman is so unique, intentional, talented, driven, and inspiring. Every day they are looking for new ways to be better, and their eagerness for growth leaves me in awe. Delta Gamma is a place where you are never judged, always understood, and never have to question if you are loved.
To the women of Delta Gamma:
You have been by my side through everything! Thank you and I love you!
To potential new members:
I am so excited that you are here! As you look around our website, I hope that you recognize the sane genuine, consistent, incredible sisterhood that I have been able to experience. Going through recruitment can be intimidating, exciting, stressful, amazing, and everything else in between, but know that there is no need to be anyone but yourself. You will always have a friend in Delta Gamma.
To all others:
Welcome! Please take a look around and do not hesitate to reach out with any questions!
